Since its establishment in April 1999, Subbit Structural Detailing Ltd has expanded steadily in its provision of top quality steel detailing services, to the structural steelwork industry.

Subbit 'Barnsley' was set-up by Nick Pepper and Wayne Thackray using StruCad, one of the industry's leading 3D detailing packages, the companies qualified workforce now numbers eight, and there are plans for further expansion over the coming year.

In 2006, we embraced 'Tekla' the steel detailing industry's other major detailing package, in addition to StruCad, this considerably widens the teams expertise, enabling it to undertake contracts such as portal frames, beam & column work, truss/lattice and curved projects of any size/dimension.

Tekla's advanced software for the construction, structural and civil engineering is built on free flowing information, constructable models and collaboration. By focusing on good communication and the elimination of waste, Tekla software makes industry more sustainable and cost effective.
